Special Tourist Visa (STV)
The special tourist visa (STV), the Tourism and Sports Ministry vows to bring in 1,200 long-stay travellers in October. STV Visa is a special visa created during the Covid-19 Pandemic for long stay tourists who would like to travel in Thailand for at least 30 days. Foreigners will be able to apply for this visa until 30 September 2021.
There are 2 insurance policies you will have to be insured at the same time. Products of insurance you will be requested are following lists;
1. Medical and Travel Insurance options with a minimum 100,000 USD coverage for Covid-19.
2. A certificate of health insurance issued by Thai insurance companies covering the entire period of stay in Thailand containing the details of coverage as follows: In-house patients of not less than THB400,000/policy year, as for out-patients, not less than THB40,000/policy year. The insurance must cover for at least 90 days.
